Finley and Pythia walk back into the room, side by side. Interestingly enough, they come from the hallway that leads to the training room, instead of the one that leads outside. Candra frowns and marches over to Finley when she sees the fresh, though thin, slice on their cheek. She places her palm over it and heals it quickly, giving them a nod, which they return. The three walk up to the consoles around the holographic projection dome in the center of the room. Etoile walks up to them too. Each of the four of them hold out their hand, and a polished white disk appears in each of their hands, four total. They set them on the console in pre-made slots around the perimeter of the raised circle. The holographic projector activates and shows a wheel of circles. Each circle has a different symbol in it; the aspects on your shirts. "While you were asleep last night, so were we." Finley begins, turning around to face you all and crossing their arms. "We went to the clocks and got these." "Four compasses, yet to be imprinted. Each group gets one to lead them to their tokens." "We can do a quick rundown of the locations you'll be visiting from here." Pythia interjects. "Once you have your compasses, you're welcome to each take a corner and research more about the locations." She gestures to the four corners of the room, all with their own miniature holographic projector and console. "We have a lot to teach you all, and not a whole lot of time to do it." Etoile adds solemnly. "We'll do our best." "Start thinking about teams! Make sure you choose people you can not only cooperate with, but that everyone has a fair chance of accomplishing their goals with." Candra nods to you all, adding her advice to the pile. "The tokens won't be easy to get." Finley continues, scanning over you. "They'll each have some sort of difficulty associated with getting them. Whatever you face will almost undoubtedly involve or revolve around the aspect." "If you want," Pythia offers loudly. "We can run through the basic locations now to assist your choices."

I clear my throat. Time to be the little blunt asshole I was always born to be. "Yeah. Do that, please."

"What about mind?" Navy pipes up. "Where'z zhat one?" Finley turns and presses their hand against one of the compasses. The holograph changes, loading a new location. "The token of mind is on Aein." Finley announces. "Aein is an inhospitable moon of the commercial planet Ku'Sorix. Readout says that there's an ancient library of some sort there. Sounds about right to me." "Tidebound control the archives on Aein." Cashel adds.

I cross my arms. "Do the rage one next."

Finley sighs and presses their hand against the compass again. The holograph goes blank, showing nothing but empty space. Finley frowns. "What the fuck?" They press a few buttons and read over some things quickly. "Readout says the rage token is in transit." "The destination, from this trajectory, should be..." The readout changes again, showing a completely different planet. This one is only a little bigger than the last one- probably because that one was a moon, you'd guess. "The hell?" Pythia frowns. "This is an exoplanet. This can't be right." Finley shrugs. "Readout says it's heading to Llauv E2-J9, an exoplanet on the outer rim." "There's... nothing on this planet. It's completely inhospitable. It has nothing more than a number to its name, really." "It's the rage." Rigel mutters. "Never make any sense."

i raise my hand. "life?"

Cavall raises her voice, "Could you do Breath?"

Finley steps aside and Candra presses her hand against the compass. The readout changes again, this time to a place you recognize. "The life token is on Eden, the moon orbiting Elysia!" Candra exclaims. Painon looks up at it hopefully.

i make an expression resembling :froglas:, having very little desire to go there again.

Pythia steps up next and touches the compass. The readout flips to a place you, Cavall, recognize immediately, much to your dismay. "Breath token's on Ephen, home planet of the trolls." Pythia supplies, though most people in the crowd already knew what the planet was.

"FUCK. Alright thank you."

"What about time?"

Sebastian steps up and presses his hand against the compass. The readout switches to a planet the other ancestors seem to recognize. It's decently sized, several moons orbiting it. "Ah. Great. The time token is on Ku'Sorix itself." "Ku'Sorix is a place of commerce, trade, and intelligence." Pythia offers, and Finley snorts. "Also, getting stabbed in the back and getting all your shit stolen."

"Are there any on Earth or Elysia."

"We can search by token, not by planet." Finley shrugs. "Try again next time."

Cavall mutters under her breath, "$$ound$$ like my kinda place..."

I shrug as well.

“Whatt aboutt space?”

Parker jumps forward and practically slaps the compass. The readout changes. This world looks distinctly odd. After a few seconds, you realize what it is- this entire planet is covered in water. Parker huffs air out his nose, and Finley speaks for him this time. "The space token is on Viuga. A planet only known for two things: Tgutta kelp and the Silent Hand." "And the water." They mutter quietly.

“‘mind if i ask about heart”

Parker keeps his hand on it, focusing. The readout changes to a planet all of you recognize immediately- the one you're on right now. "The heart token is here, on Earth!" Parker exclaims happily.

"Where's the doom one?"

Finley holds up a finger to Maia apologetically. "Since it's on Earth, we should be able to narrow it down a little more." They tap away again. The holograph zooms in on the ocean, focusing on an island. Another place a few of you distantly recognize. "The heart token is on Audesce." Finley announces. "Of course." Etoile mutters. "It might very well be what's powering the island." Pythia glances at Finn, wide-eyed. "The beacon- the beacon Finn did, that's why it worked so well!" "Ooooohhhh!!" Parker perks up too, grinning at Finn. "Awesome!!"

I grimace. Yikes. "What about void?" I say, brieshifting for a moment for the sake of getting us information.

Parker steps away from the compass, glancing around quietly. "...Uh, don't we need....?" Finley clenches their teeth together and steps towards the compass, cracking their knuckles. "We don't need them." They press their hand against the compass. The readout flickers for a second, flashing between paces rapidly before landing on one. The ancestors all pale and gasp quietly, save for Finley, at the sight of the planet. The planet is dark and charred. Tall spires rise up rise up from the voids inside in an all too familiar pattern. "Charos." Finley announces. "The void token is on Charos, home planet of Katanalosi's worshipers. Because of course it is." "Charos is a void of suffering and misery, a black hole of souls." Pythia mutters. "Who the fuck is going there?" Finley sighs. "It'll probably have to be me, one way or another." "Doom's next." Sebastian rubs his hands together. "Step aside." He presses his hand against the compass after Finley moves. The holographic readout switches to a rather horrifying sight. An entire planet, shattered from the core. Its pieces float around in a vague recollection of what it once was. Nothing could ever possibly survive here. "Ah." Sebastian chuckles dryly. "The doom token is on Mache 027, otherwise known as the Dead Planet. Legends say it was destroyed eons ago by an ancient and horrible destruction the likes of which we could never comprehend." "Peachy." Pythia mutters.

Cavall glances at Lirium and back up to the console, "What about Hope?"

Candra steps up quickly, placing a hand on the compass. The readout shows a very small planet with a little dot orbiting it. Candra frowns. "Uh. Did I break it?" Finley looks over and examines the written readout. "No. Hmm. It says the hope token is orbiting this planet, on some kind of station. It's undocumented, whatever it is." "Oh." Lirium says quietly. "Like mine?" Candra grimaces, but smiles back at her. "Yeah, like yours."

I look between Etoile and Chlori. “< what about the light token? >”

Etoile steps over again and touches the compass. The projector brightens and changes to a large planet, diverse in biomes and colors. Etoile 'oooh's softly. "Oh, awesome!! The light token is on Licantis! Licantis is a planet known for its beauty and natural energy. Many followers of various deities have establishments there." She supplies. "So I have to go to hell central station, but someone gets fucking Licantis." Finley mutters. "Wonderful." "What about blood?" Painon finally asks, smiling nervously. Pythia smiles back at him and presses her hand to the compass for the final token. The result is another new planet. Finley and Pythia groan immediately. This planet looks intermittently wooded and rocky, so it's hard to make out what's on the surface. "The blood token is on Cravanide." Pythia sighs. "Cravanide is home to an ancient civilization long gone, but it's known for what inhabits it now." "Pakhet's followers have completely overtaken the planet. They hunt the wildlife- and each other- in packs." Finley finishes. "That's where Finley and I almost got eaten by a Klepalta." Pythia adds. "Those things fucking suck." "Well, that's all of them." Pythia nods. "Feel free to pick and choose as you will. Once you all have your groups and choices, feel free to let one of us know and we can help you inscribe your compass." "Until then, we still have a lot to teach you!" Parker adds.
